Our friend Dani from Resende, Brazil, specializes in collecting kits from teams of all divisions of Brazilian football. He's a big supporter of Flamengo, Resende, FC, Pérolas Negras AC, so naturally, their shirts feature in his Top 5. Paulista FC / 2019 / Home

Paulista FC is one of the teams that will always have a soft spot in my heart due to it being the team my great grandfather played for, and it was the team my late grandmother supported. This shirt was used in the 8th tier of Brazilian football, their current division.

Ypiranga AC / 2021 / Home

In my eyes, this kit is just beautiful! Ypiranga’s first-ever shirt with Ícone Sports could not be better. They rocked this shirt during their 2021 Série D run, which sadly ended up at the group stage. The design is a nice starting point which makes me excited to see what they will create next year.

Resende FC / 2020 / Home

This kit marks the start of a new era for Resende FC. This is the first kit of their Lyon partnership, and it came out great. Seeing some of my childhood buddies playing for my hometown team makes this shirt even more special. Resende FC currently plays at the 5th tier of Brazilian football.

Pérolas Negras Academia / 2019 / Home

Do I really need to give a reason? My other hometown squad has rocked this design (or similar ones) since 2019. This specific one is made by DNA Sports, and the origin for this design is a seismograph because the team was founded as an NGO to help Haitian refugees in Brazil. They became a pro club in 2014, and the squad is comprised of many refugees. They currently play in the 7th tier, and I will always have time to support them.

Vila Nova FC / 2020 / Third

I just love the design of this one + the BLM patch. The shirt is made by Vila’s own brand V43, and it quickly turned into a fan favorite. The kit was used in a few games during their 2020 promotion campaign in the Série C.

My Whole Collection!

I started to collect because I love the sport, but now collecting has a different meaning. Most people know the kits from the big teams, but very few know about small clubs, so my joy comes from giving those clubs some love and visibility because I got tired of just seeing the same kits in collections. I take pride in that my whole collection consists only of Brazilian clubs and often overlooked ones.
