Germany 1994 Away

I want to start with a German classic and highlight of the DFB Shirt history- Germany's 1994 World Cup away shirt in green, with the iconic black, red and gold flag details. The collar shows the German colours as well, with the DFB logos on it too. We did not play very well at the World Cup, but this and the white home shirt were definitely two of the most iconic shirts from USA 94. With Thomas “Icke“ Hässler 8 on the back, it’s my number one Germany shirt and a highlight in my collection.

MSV Duisburg 98/99 Home

This iconic 98/99 home shirt of the "Zebras“ is my absolute favourite MSV Duisburg jersey. You can see the new Zebra logo as a big watermark on the front, also typical big zebra stripes round the shirt. A classic Duisburg shirt as worn in the 1998 DFB-Cup Final against Bayern Munich, which Duisburg unfortunately lost 2-1. Gladly I could add this one to the collection in a beautiful long-sleeved version, which makes it so special for me. #savelongsleeves!

Mexico 1999 Home

FIFA Confederations Cup Winners shirt. It was the 4th of August in 1999, a hot day and a melting atmosphere in Estadío Azteca, when Mexico played Brazil in the final of the Confed Cup in front of an unbelievable 110,000 cheering fans! Mexico won the match 4-3, earning their first title in history and becoming the first CONCACAF team to win the tournament. Look at this design! Mexico with a green stunner again! The beautiful watermark is all over the shirt. The collar, cuffs and badge round off a perfect 90s football shirt. Arriba!

Real Madrid 94/96 Away

When you think of the 90s as a football lover and shirt collector you will think of “El Galacticos“ great times, legendary players, major successes and of course, iconic shirts. The 1994-1996 away shirt is my all-time favourite from Real Madrid. The design and colour is totally 90s. The collar details and big Kelme sleeves make this one perfect for me. What a 90s banger!

FC Schalke 04 93/94 Home

Sometimes it’s not easy as a Schalke fan… You need nerves of steel as a fan to handle the ups and downs. The 93/94 season was not the best for Schalke, but this shirt was a highlight. This is my favourite football shirt and my “holy grail“. The iconic patterns are known around the world and it is one of the most beloved Schalke shirts. Did you know you can see the old “R‘activ” sponsor underneath “Müller”? The shirt merchandise from 92/93 got re-used in the next season.

My Collection

Every shirt tells a story. That’s why I love collecting. There are so many stories, memories, tears or happy times with every shirt. Some you wear, some you just have in the collection to see them from time to time and say wow, what a shirt! As a football shirt collector, you’re never at the end. This is what makes it so much fun.
