My first World Cup was in 2010 and it was the first time I ever wanted a soccer jersey. That was also the year I got interested in soccer and joined my first team and having so many memories wearing it. My favorite player Javier “Chicharito” Hernández had a breakout year wearing this jersey and started his Historic career for Club and Nation. So the seeds were planted at the young age of 11.

When I bought this I was obsessed with jerseys, I found this club through Twitter and I liked their mission to “INSPIRE YOUTH TO PURSUE CAREERS IN STEM AND ESTABLISH A PROFESSIONAL SOCCER CLUB IN THE US.” And months later I am representing them in FIFA 21 as an ePlayer at the Lower League eCup and even won a tournament!!

Pumas was the first team I ever rooted for and that was even before I ever understood soccer! So obviously, I needed a special jersey, and what’s more special than the first one-off Nike jersey for UNAM Pumas celebrating Mexico's heritage.

Having a local club to support is amazing and I didn’t know what I was missing! I’ve been lucky enough to be part of their QBFC Ambassadors program and have been able to positively affect the community. You feel more connected to a smaller club and actually have an opportunity to meet some of the people that run the organization. And soon I'll add it to my collection.

I normally don’t like all-white jerseys but this one is very special to me because I bought it while I was studying abroad in Greece. It reminds me of all the fun times I had and all the friends I made that I still keep in contact with to this day.
